It’s wrong to say Brazil has no history. Even with just over 500 years of its “discovery”, the country has riches that even Brazilians do not give much importance.

You may not believe it, but even with these beautiful places, Brazilians still has a certain resistance to visit some sights in the country.

For sure Pão de Açúcar (or Sugarloaf Mountain) is one of the most beautiful sights of Rio de Janeiro. The second largest postcard of the city (only losing to Cristo Redentor) receives hundreds of tourists daily. If you have extra cash you can take an helicopter tour around.

Located in the historic center of Salvador, Pelourinho receives various artistics and musical attractions during all year. You also can find a lot of bars, restaurants, museums, theaters, churches and monuments there.

Iguaçu National Park – Paraná
Considered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, the Iguaçu National Park is one of the world’s largest and most impressive waterfalls, extending over some 2,700 m. It is home to many rare and endangered species of flora and fauna, among them the giant otter and the giant anteater.

Botanical Garden of Curitiba – Paraná
